Rodeo community shocked as cowboy Broc Cresta dies at 25
Broc Cresta, a team roper who participated in the National Finals Rodeo contest in the past 2 years, was discovered dead Saturday in his living trailer at the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo. He was 25-year-old.
Broc Cresta was declared the 2007 Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) Rookie Heeler of the Year. He joined Turtle Powell in the 2010 NFR and Spencer Mitchell in 2011. Cresta also teamed with Logan Olson to claim the 2009 Cheyenne trophy.
