UK Royals to sue Closer for publication of Kate Middleton controversial photos
The British royals revealed their decision of suing the French publication Closer that dropped online some topless images of Kate Middleton as she sunbathed in Provence, France while on holiday with Prince William.

The French magazine, Closer, published a series of photos featuring the 30-year-old Duchess of Cambridge on vacation, sunbathing, under the headline “Oh My God!” Closer’s paper version hit the newsstands in France today.
The magazine rejects any wrongdoing and wrote on its website that the pictures will only pop up in the French, not the British edition. Furthermore the publishers stress that the photos are not denigrating.
The spicy images were snapped a few days ago as Middleton and Prince William enjoyed their 1-year marriage anniversary in April, while spending their 4-day off time at the Chateau D’Autet in southern France before embarking on an Asian tour on behalf of Queen Elizabeth II.
The royals had harsh moments as they learned of news while taking breakfast Friday before paying a visit to a mosque in Malaysia. Apparently it was not a news easy to digest as palace source revealed that initially the couple simply felt upset, but subsequently the sadness progressed shock and finally went on to a decision to take legal action and sue Closer.

“Their Royal Highness have been hugely saddened to learn that a French publication and a photographer have invaded their privacy in such a grotesque and totally unjustifiable manner. The incident is reminiscent of the worst excesses of the press and paparazzi during the life of Diana, Princess of Wales, and all the more upsetting to The Duke and Duchess for being so,” the St. James Palace said an earlier statement Friday.
Despite the topless photo disclosure, the royal couple moved on with their public visits as if nothing had occurred. During the visit at the mosque, Kate was polite and put off her heels and wore a specific scarf in agreement with Muslim tradition.
Furthermore, the Duchess of Cambridge draw sympathy as she made unbelievable efforts and managed to smile and laugh her way through a Diamond Jubilee tea party at the British High Commission in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday.
