Video: Aziz Ansari mows the grass at NYC’s Central Park
Comedian Aziz Ansari proved to be quite enthusyastic to cut down the grass on the fields of a well known landmark – NYC’s Central Park (scroll down for video).
The attractive tourist destination is scheduled to publicly re-open its landscapes next Saturday, April 7. Ansari stars on the NBC comedy series “Parks and Recreation” in which he plays character Tom Haverford.
Under the supervision several park workers, the 29-year-old actor jumped on a mower and rode the vehicle until cut down 1 acre of grass at the 15-acre Sheep Meadow
Ansari’s effort is seen as the celebration of the Central Park Conservancy marking its “First Mow” of a main lawn, also named “kickoff to spring.” To note the Central Park features about 843-acre lawns and ball fields which are not accessible to people when the off-season.
