Wikileaks has published the first video recording of Edward Snowden, after his exile in Russia. In the footage the former American IT technician, who appears to be in good condition, warns about the possible dangers that target the democracy (scroll down for video).
During a presentation held in the Russian capital, Snowden addressed a group of four former members of the U.S. intelligence who have awarded him a prize for “integrity in intelligence work.”
Former CIA analyst Ray McGovern, stated that the association is “proud to honor Snowden ‘s decision to follow his conscience and to put the common good above its future,” according to Wikileaks.
The video posted by TheWikiLeaksChannel on Youtube shows Snowden wearing a black suit and blue shirt, no tie, looking at ease, during a discussions with the ex-U.S. agents at the Sam Adams award event in Moscow on 9 October 2013.
