Thousands of Dutch people cannot get a driver’s license because of the corona virus. In total, more than 80,000 theoretical and practical exams, interim tests and driving tests have been canceled, as well as rehabilitation courses for drink driving and ‘road hiking’, reports the Centraal Bureau Rijvaardigheidsbewijzen (CBR).
All exams, tests and courses between March 16 and 31 have been canceled. The CBR will decide shortly whether this will be extended. The canceled exams can be made up later at no extra cost. It is currently not possible to reserve exams ‘to prevent hoarding of exams’.
