The Czech Premier who had sent condolences to South Africa on Friday, expressing “his deep pain and sorrow” caused by the death of Mandela, described the trip as “to the hell away” before concluding in vulgar terms that he will have a “problem” if the president won’t be able to make the travel.

In a statement released to the Czech press on Saturday, Rusnok apologized for the words he used, adding that “it was wrong to say that.”

According to the AP, Rusnok explained that it will be difficult for him to modify his busy program and make time for this unannounced trip. He noted that an announcement will be made these days revealing who will represent Czech Republic at Mandela ‘s funerals on December 15.
