US Navy F-18 Hornet fighter jet crashed in Nevada near Naval Air Station Fallon training site
A supersonic military jet fell from the sky Saturday afternoon at about 15:00 hrs while performing a training flight at a complex in Western Nevada, according to a Navy statement.

The combat airplane was conducting a training flight. Navy officials rushed to the crash site shortly after the accident but have not yet released any “information on the status of the plane’s crew member,” according to a news release.
